Galdhopiggen Offers Top Skiing in Norway

Situated within the municipality of Lom in the Jotunheimen mountain area of Norway, the majestic Galdhopiggen is the highest mountain in Scandinavia reaching a height of 2,469 meters (8,100 feet). Although Galdhoppigen towers above the surrounding landscape, it is accessible on foot and the view from the top is awe-inspiring, making it a popular choice with “peakbaggers” – summit-focused hikers. The AST Dew Tour is a very popular five month summer extreme sport series featuring three sports, each incorporating a number of different disciplines, taking place at venues across the USA.
