Marble Mountain Resort – A Top Ski Destination in Canada
Marble Mountain Resort is located in the eastern region of Canada and it is a region that not only overflows with beauty, but enjoys a rich heritage. The Labrador and Newfoundland region has always been an attraction with its codfish, and lured many English, Indians, Vikings and French to its shores over the centuries. When the fiftieth anniversary of Newfoundland and Labrador becoming part of the Canadian Confederacy came around in 1999, Marble Mountain Resort planted a cedar tree. Recent upgrades at the Snowmass Ski Area offer world-class skiing and snowboarding opportunities to the many snow sport enthusiasts that visit each year. In an ongoing effort to maintain high standards, Aspen Skiing Co. is seeking approvals to carry out improvements on Buttermilk’s skiing facilities, including a new Tiehack lift, as well as nearly doubling up on the current snowmaking capacity.
