One of the most competitive and prestigious series in the sport of snowboarding, is the Burton Global Open Series. From the 11th to the 15th of August 2009, the snowboarding action will be at the Cardrona Alpine Resort for the Burton New Zealand Open. The best international snowboarders form various destinations around the world can be seen in action at this magnificent event.

Over and above the snowboarding action, entertainment and concerts are scheduled to keep spectators busy from the morning until late at night.
