Most ski resorts have a range of accommodation to suit the needs of their guests. Luxury Hotels, lodges, chalets and bed and breakfasts are found near most ski vacation resorts. Condominiums and self catering villas are suitable for families with young children.

One of our favorites is the Whitetail Club and Resort in McCall Idaho- a delight at any time of the year but is perfect for a skiing vacation. The elegantly furnished seventy-seven room boutique hotel resort nestles on the banks of the Payette Lake in the Payette National Forest.

Another of our favorites is Keystone Colorado, which is a popular skiing vacation resort with plenty of condominium accommodation scattered all through the resort that will suit families. Keystone has an Alpine atmosphere with mountains closely surrounding the resort.

Vail Ski Resort offers a wide range of accommodation starting from time share and condos to luxury resorts. They vary in proximity to the slopes but all offer convenient ways of getting there. The Inn at Beaver Creek for example is minutes away from the Strawberry Park Express Lift to the slopes. This intimate mountain lodge is conveniently located for the restaurants and shopping plaza.

The luxurious Pine Lodge at Vail is more up-market and it is home to the Zatag Award winning Grouse Mountain Grill. The hotel has magnificent views of the Golf course and offers a free shuttle to the slopes.

Copper Mountain Ski Resort in Colorado offers plenty of accommodation in its Village just off the ski slopes. The resort does not book specific lodges or buildings as such but guarantees to provide you with the kind of accommodation you have requested while booking. The accommodation is close to the village activities and the restaurants and is very close to the beginners and intermediate terrain.

Copper Mountain boasts world-class accommodations classified as gold silver and bronze according to its level of luxury. You can ski for free if you book accommodation for seven days at Copper Mountain Ski Resort. One can easily go on to Vail, Aspen and Steamboat, other outstanding Colorado resorts, from here for more skiing.
