Mount Baw Baw’s network of seven ski lifts services more than thirty hectares of diverse downhill skiing terrain to suit every level of skiing experience. Cross country skiers have more than ten kilometers of groomed and sheltered cross country trails to explore. The trails allow skiers to access Mount St. Gwinear, Mount St. Phillack, the Baw Baw Plateau and the Alpine Walking Trail. The Cactus Rail Park at Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort was opened in July 2007 and incorporates eight exciting features, including rails and kick boxes. Both skiers and snowboarders are invited to test their skills as the Cactus Rail Park.

Whether you are just beginning to discover the thrill of snow skiing, or your expert skiing abilities have become a bit rusty, Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort’s friendly Snow Sports Team will have you gliding down the slopes in no time, either as part of a group or on a one-on-one basis. If you don’t have your own kit you will be able to hire skis, snowboards, toboggans and clothing.

In addition to world-class snow skiing, Mount Baw Baw Alpine Resort offers plenty of social events and nightly entertainment throughout the winter season. Visitors can look forward to enjoying theme parties such as a Traffic Light Party on 14 June, a Wig Party on 28 June and the OP Shop on 12 July. DJ Robbie G is a regular feature on the social calendar and youngsters from the ages of ten through to seventeen can enjoy a Baw Baw Hangout, complete with DJ. The Frosti Fun Club presents a host of exciting activities for younger children.
