World Snowboarding Championship

Even though snowboarding has grown into an immensely popular winter sport, it has always remained on the sidelines in regard to championship tournaments. But that is all about to change with the recent announcement that a World Snowboarding Championship is currently being established. At the 2009 TTR General Assembly, which was held in Austria, representatives from around the world supported the project, which is being organized by the World Snowboard Federation and the TTR World Tour.
