Winter Candlelight Hike and Ski 2010
With more than two hundred tiki torches lighting the way, skiing and hiking enthusiasts will be able to explore the slopes of the Kohler-Andrae State Park at the Winter Candlelight Hike and Ski 2010. Family and friends can enjoy this rare opportunity from 6 – 9 pm, and no sleds or pets are allowed, to ensure the safety of participants. The cross country ski trail lights up the winter beauty of the park and showcases the magic of the park, at night.

West Yellowstone Training Camp 2009
The Go Training West Yellowstone Camp 2009 invites all skiing enthusiasts between the ages of 15 and 25, to join this interactive and fun camp, which assists skiers who are interested in cross country skiing, to improve their skills. Training camp will see students out on the slopes 2 to 3 times a day, and participants are therefore required to have a high fitness level. Students will also have inspiring athletes as coaches, helping with technique development and encouragement to continue in the sport.

The Renowned American Birkebeiner
The American Birkebeiner (otherwise known as Birkie) is considered to be North America’s largest cross country ski race. At 51 kilometers, it is also one of the longest races, with participants skiing from Cable to Hayward in Wisconsin. As in previous years, approximately 8,000 skiers from at least 19 countries are expected to participating in the Birkie, as well as related snow skiing races on the program of the 35th annual American Birkebeiner to take place from 21 to 23 February 2008.
