June Mountain, located in the Eastern Sierra near Mammoth Mountain, is a great ski area for skiers of all levels and age groups. June Mountain boasts 35 trails covering 500 acres of skiing area and a total vertical height of 2,590 feet. The longest run on June Mountain measures 2 miles of sparkling white snow. The mountain’s terrain is categorized as follows: 25% beginner, 45% intermediate and 20% advanced. That means there is a trail for everyone, and seven lifts provide skiers with access to the trails. All of the trails on June Mountain lead back to the June Meadow Chalet. At the Chalet, visitors can rent equipment, get their equipment repaired, make purchases at the sports shop, get a meal, use the childcare service and the sports school is situated here. The June Super Pipe provides snowboarders with an awesome challenge. Snowboarders will also appreciate the three terrain parks and two jib parks. Certified instructors at the Ski and Snowboarding School teach snow enthusiasts a range of new techniques to get the most out of their runs. The Children’s classes promote a fun learning atmosphere and cater for children between the ages of 4 and 12 years.

Accommodation is not available at June Mountain, however, there are several excellent hotels, guest houses and so forth in the nearby vicinity, and finding something tasty to eat during your visit presents no difficulty. At June Meadows Chalet, visitors can enjoy cafeteria type meals whilst looking out at an exquisite view. The cocktail bar is popular amongst many patrons. Slim’s Stew Pot serves a variety of delicious foods as well as wine and beer.
