Pats Peak in New Hampshire is a popular family snow sports destination which has built up a reputation for excellent snow skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing opportunities during the forty-six years that it has been welcoming guests. This local family-owned resort is not about to rest on its laurels though, and continually looks for ways to ensure that guests have a memorable snow sport experience.

Visitors to Pats Peak during the 2008-2009 snow skiing season will enjoy the benefits of a host of improvements. Foremost in those improvements is the implementation of additional snowmaking equipment, which includes a high capacity water pump, fourteen additional HKD tower guns and eight new SMI Polecat snowmaking fan guns. This additional snowmaking ability allows Pats Peak to open more trails earlier in the season, which is great news for snow sport fans keen to hit the slopes again.

Pats Peak already operates one of Northern New England’s largest rental shops, where guests can find what they need, guided by the expertise of the rental shop assistants, before using the lift at the shop to get to the slopes without delay. The 2008-2009 season sees even more state-of-the-art equipment on offer, including 200 new pairs of skis complete with bindings, 300 pairs of ski boots and 150 new snowboards.

A new gladed area has been cleared, bringing the number of gladed areas at Pats Peak to seven, all of which are services by the extensive snowmaking equipment. These areas offer a wide variety of top quality terrain to skiers and boarders. The frustration of waiting in line for a ticket will be a thing of the past at Pats Peak, as the new upgraded computerized ticketing system promises to significantly increase the efficiency of daily guest service transactions.

To keep up with customer demand, Pats Peak has installed more seasonal lockers in the Seasonal Locker Room below the Main Lodge. This is a popular option for families who do not want the hassle of carting equipment between home and the mountain. Add to all of this, the thrill of night skiing, ski and snowboard clinics, fantastic season pass rates and tasty food options, and it is clear that Pats Peak is a great choice for your next snow skiing vacation.
