Phoenix Mountain

Phoenix Mountain Ski Resort is located in the Phoenix Interpretive Forest just 30 km from Grand Forks in British Columbia. This community ski hill is operated by the Phoenix Alpine Ski Society and is renowned for its late season skiing. A stunning north facing slope, excellent snow fall, a mild climate and outstanding downhill runs, Phoenix Mountain is an unforgettable ski experience.

Between December and late March skiers and snowboarders flock to the slopes of Phoenix Mountain. It boasts eleven runs covering a ski area of 150 acres with a vertical of 800 feet. An annual snowfall of 29 feet ensures excellent ski and snowboarding conditions. Phoenix Mountain Ski Resort is ideal for people of all levels of ability. The terrain is a categorized as follows: 20% beginner, 50% intermediate and 30 % advanced with some really challenging, steep runs. Two lifts are able to carry 2000 snow sport enthusiasts every hour to numerous points on the mountain’s glistening white slopes. Cross-country skiers are also sure to have a great time exploring a 10 km network of trails around the lovely Marshall Lake. The fun doesn’t end when the sun sets at Phoenix Mountain. The runs are well lit up for a few hours of night skiing or snowboarding.

Phoenix Mountain Ski Resort also ensures that visitors have what they need with a day lodge, ski and snowboard equipment rental, a licensed cafeteria and a CSIA ski school. Though there is no accommodation at Phoenix Mountain, there are many venues in the nearby vicinity where skiers can stay.
