Nestled in the magnificent Southern Andes Mountains, on the slopes of majestic Chillán volcano, the resort offers spectacular ski terrain and breathtaking vista Termas de Chillán ski resort is the biggest single resort in South America, by ski able terrain. Termas de Chillán has it all from immaculate tree-lined slopes, a huge vertical drop to South America’s longest run, a snowboard park, plenty of quality off-piste terrain and famous hot springs. Nine lifts access 28 groomed trails for all ability levels. At Termas de Chillán ski resort there are approximately 24,710 acres of terrain with 29 runs stretching across 20 miles of quality pistes catering for all levels of ability. The longest run in South America, at is the eight-mile long Las Tres Marías which takes sliders through fabulous forests, while the 820-feet long the longest run snow park features a half pipe, quarter pipe, fun boxes, and assorted jumps. Snowboarding is allowed on all open terrain first snow park of South America. The on site Gran Hotel Termas de Chillán has 120 well-appointed rooms, heated common areas, restaurants, game rooms, conference facilities, bar, store, hair salon, fitness gym, squash court, children's day care center, full-service hot springs spa, three hot springs pools.
The Hotel Pirigallo has 48 rooms, dining room, bar with an open-hearth fireplace, game room, nursery, outdoor hot springs pool, and a hot springs spa. There are six slope-side condominium complexes that are fully furnished equipped with alternative activities including it has a circuit for Nordic ski, options for randonnée (ski touring), snowmobiling, sledging, hiking, mountaineering and heli-skiing. You can also play tennis and squash and there are heated swimming pools and saunas at the hotels and condos, while après-ski is lively with plentiful bars and clubs.
