Paradiski - Ski Vacation Paradise of France
Paradiski is a newer resort of France that lies in the heart of the Savoie Alps with unlimited winter sports and leisure activities on offer. The ski area is varied and seems unlimited with something for everyone from novice to expert. With 239 pistes covering 425 km, the area accesses three glaciers and two peaks over 3000 m.
Three main villages Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne which are linked by the prestigious cable-car, Vanoise Express form Paradiski, one of the largest and most varied ski areas in the world. The Vanoise Express traverses the pretty Ponthurin Valley offering a panoramic view of Mont Blanc, the Italian Alps and the peaks of the Vanoise.
Paradiski has endless pleasures to offer on your winter vacation at its five snowparks and endless slopes. You can go night skiing, dog sledding, snowmobiling or ski-jöring. Nowhere else in France will you find an artificial ice tower, a Bobsleigh run and Kilometer Lancé speed skiing.
You can choose your base depending on your preference of altitude, comfort, ambience or entertainment. Les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry and La Plagne offer apartments with a view of the glacier, chalets on the edge of the forest or a studio for two all right next to the pistes.
Les Arcs was created in 1968 and is the European birthplace of snowboarding. The most avant-garde of the three Paradiski resorts, it covers four sites: 1600, a modern, functional resort featuring original architecture, 1800, a trendy resort, 1950, the most recent and most chic and 2000, home of speed skiing.
La Plagne comprises of six dynamic, lively resorts and four charming, traditional village resorts. It has the only Olympic bobsleigh run in France, the tallest artificial ice structure and a new American-style snowpark on a dedicated 900 metre piste. La Plagne is perfect for a family skiing vacation. Its slopes are excellent for beginners and intermediates.
Peisey-Vallandry comprises of five villages and is the home of biathlon. A charming mountain village in the heart of Paradiski at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, Peisey-Vallandry combines all the charm of family hospitality with outstanding skiing.
