New Mexico’s Angel Fire Ski Resort has decided to make a few changes to their facilities in time for the new skiing season, to be able to offer guests more activities and improve accommodation. Therefore, remodeling the hotel was first on the resort’s list. Angel Fire Resort brought in the best designers and interior decorators to transform the hotel, inside and out. Living Designs Group will be responsible for the exterior of the hotel, while Zimmer Associates will upgrade and redesign all one hundred and twenty hotel rooms.
Skiers will find some of the old popular features back in action this season, such as the Teen Ticket. The Teen Ticket offers special pricing for teenagers between the ages of thirteen and seventeen. A new feature, in regard to fees, is the Southern Rockies Passport. This allows skiers to enjoy unlimited access to the skiing and snow boarding facilities at the Angel Fire Resort, as well as being able to take on Monarch Mountain, the Pajarito Ski Area and Crested Butte for three days. Guest will also be able to buy an Angel Fire Resort Gift Card from any of the retail shops at the resort, which gives guests the freedom of convenient shopping, renting, and paying restaurants or for skiing lessons, with the card. This card can then be recharged throughout their ski vacation.
Snow sport enthusiasts can also look forward to an addition on the slopes. Between the Hallelujah and Fire Escape ski trails, a new glade skiing terrain has been created. This brings the total of glade skiing terrains up to three, adding to the existing seventy-two trails, cross-country trails, tubing hills, terrain parks and half-pipe. Angel Fire Resort hopes that these changes will make the resort even more attractive and enjoyable for guests and make more options available. These continuous upgrades and renovations made to the resort ensure that it will remain one of the most sought after ski vacation resorts in the country.
