Loveland Ski Area in Arapahoe National Forest, Colorado, is amongst the highest ski areas of the state. Straddling the Continental Divide, Loveland was established in 1937. As it is not a resort-style ski zone, snow sport enthusiasts will find it less expensive with shorter queues.

Loveland Valley is perfect for beginners. With experienced instructors you will be gliding down basic runs in no time. Loveland Basin is every adrenaline-junkies dream. With breath-taking black diamonds, such as The Plunge, Tiger’s Tail, Avalanche Bowl, Holy Cat and Cat’s Meow, the excitement never ends. Loveland Ski Area is an all-round family ski zone.

Over and above the outstanding skiing at Loveland, the ski area also has a number of facilities that add to the complete experience. Purchase equipment at the excellent sport shop or enjoy a delicious meal at the restaurant. Child care is available for parents who wish to hit the slopes. Accommodation is available at nearby towns such as Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Dillon or Denver.
