Situated just twenty minutes from Missoula, Snowbowl is easy to get to. The resort is one of Montana’s larger ski areas, featuring a summit elevation of 7600 ft and a vertical drop of 2600 ft. The 32 great ski trails are spread out over 1200 acres of ski-able terrain and are easily accessed by four ski lifts. These trails are rated 10% beginner, 40% intermediate, 40% advanced and 10% expert. Snowboarders will also enjoy the great terrain park. For beginner and for more experienced skiers, there are a number of top-notch instructors with a friendly smile who are ready and able to help. Besides offering group and individual lessons, you’ll also find that Montana Snowbowl has children’s and women’s programs.
