Most popular ski resorts have many vacation attractions in addition to skiing. Resorts that are reputed more for adults and not recognized as family vacation ski resorts reverberate with a very active night life. People on vacation want as much fun during the après-ski as during the day on the ski slopes. Many resorts all over the world are as well known for their nightlife and après-ski as they are for their terrain.

Many American ski resorts offer a nightlife to match any world wide. Aspen has a scintillating range of pubs and live music venues. Heavenly Lake Tahoe is well known for its casinos, bars, and nightclubs. Breckenridge is reputed to be Summit County’s liveliest resort with plenty of non-ski and après-ski options. The surrounding town offers live theater, movie theaters, historic tours, 140 restaurants, bars, and nightclubs. A skiing vacation in Canada has a plethora of options for a lively nightlife at British Columbia’s Whistler Blackcomb and Quebec’s Tremblant.

Chamonix on the Mont Blanc in the French Alps is one of the liveliest ski vacation resorts in the world. You will not be bored for a minute here and the mind boggling range of nightclubs and bars can keep you up every night of your vacation. “L’Elevation1904” is a popular bar and café which offers excellent meals during the day and is throbbing with life après-ski. A warm welcome, plasma screens with international sports and great drinks draw in the crowds.

“Chambre Neuf” has been around for a while and now has a live band every night and Swedish dancing girls on the table tops! Enjoy a drink here after a day in the mountains. An old favorite with regulars and vacationers is “Goophy” which is a restaurant and bar that serves excellent food and drink. A cool place to hang out!

“The Garage” is a late night spot where you can dance the night away. The younger crowd love “Cantina” with its funky beat, smoky atmosphere and noise. “La Choucas” is a very popular night club with the international crowd for late night partying.
