Opened in 1963, Ski Butternut continues to draw large numbers of skiers and snowboarders to its 110 acres of ski terrain. Some 22 trails crisscross the vertical of 1000 feet. Ski Butternut’s beautiful landscape is coated in a 115 inches of snow every year and 100% snow making capacity means there are always great conditions for winter sport activities. The terrain is ideal for intermediate skiers but everyone will enjoy the runs which are rated 20% beginner, 60% intermediate, 10% advanced and 10% expert. Ski Butternut has 10 ski lifts which are able to carry around 13,000 skiers up the slopes every hour. Cross-country skiers can visit Ski Butternut Cross Country Center which will make available eight kilometers of trails leading through a stunning wooded section. Snowboarders and skiers can heat things up in the two terrain parks. One park is specifically designed as a learning spot for inexperienced snow sport enthusiasts. Twist & West Way is the more challenging park with a variety of exciting features. Families will have a whole heap of fun at the tubing park.

At these lodges you will find a demo center, children’s center, clubhouse and fully equipped ski shop – everything you need in one convenient place.
