This event is widely considered to be one of the most exciting races on the Australian Cross Country events calendar. While 2013 marks the 14th anniversary of the Snow Mountains Classic, the event continues the tradition established in 1965 by the Paddy Pallin Classic. The race is freestyle, with competitors having the option to ski classical technique. The four distance options open to competitors are: Snowy Mountain Classic 30km; Guthrie Gallop 15km; Rock Creek Rush 7.5km; and Wombat Ramble 2.5km. For more information visit snowsportsact.com.au
