Middlebury College Snow Bowl allows skiers and snowboarders access to 110 acres of ski terrain with 15 trails. A vertical of 1 050 feet and a summit elevation of 2 650 feet, the Snow Bowl receives some 130 inches of snow per annum. With additional snowmaking, you can be sure of excellent conditions this winter. Middlebury's terrain has been rated 29% beginner, 21% intermediate and 50% advanced. Three lifts are available to whisk visitors up the snowy slopes. The Middlebury Snow Bowl is actually separated into two sections. The front side has both novice and expert trails whilst the East Slope, also known as Bailey Falls, features the majority of the advanced runs. On the front side you will discover the well-known racing runs of Ross and Allen. These two impressive trails are used by professional racers for practice sessions. Grooming is particularly focused on one side of the Bowl, so that skiers and snowboarders can play around on the bumpy terrain of the other side.

Middlebury College Snow Bowl is popular amongst those who want to get away from the bustle of larger resorts and is often a stop on journeys to Mad River Valley.
