With a summit elevation of 3861 feet, Jay Peak boasts a vertical of 2153 feet, which receives around 357 inches of snow every year. Many venture to Jay Peak to test out their skills on the 100 acres of off-piste skiing through glades. Jay Peak opens up a winter wonderland for skiers and snowboarders of all ability levels. The runs are rated 20% beginner, 40% intermediate and 40% advanced. Experts may want to try out the challenging Green Beret or River Quai runs. Those who are starting out will enjoy Moonwalk Woods glade. Begin your adventure at Jay Peak by hopping onto one of the seven lifts or the tram.

The young-at-heart will be thrilled with Jay Peak Ski Resort’s 4 terrain parks. Grom Park is all about freestyle riding for those who are still learning the ropes. This is where future jibbers start out. Rail Garden has a number of fun rails which can be reconfigured as you like. Progression Park is all about progressing. More of an intermediate terrain park, here’s where you prepare yourself for The Park. The Park is the ultimate challenge. Designed around the suggestions of park visitors, you can be sure of an awesome time here. Cross-country skiers can explore 20 km of trails, and there is a 5 km network of snowshoe trails. Moreover, Jay Peak has a fantastic Snowsports School, with various programs on offer to people of all ages and ability levels. Snowmobiling is also popular on the VAST trails.
