Snow skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts are expected to take advantage of the single largest ski and snowboard sale of the year. More that 20,000 square feet will be set up as a huge temporary ski shop, selling a wide variety of gear for men, women and children in the very latest styles and at never-to-be-repeated prices.

Organizers are expecting more than 30,000 people to attend the Colorado Ski & Snow Expo where more than a hundred vendors, including representatives from Colorado’s twenty-six ski resorts, will be exhibiting. Visitors will get all the information that they need as to what’s happening at their favorite resort with regard to improvements and specials – and getting lots of souvenirs and giveaways. The Expo will be the last chance for procrastinating snow-lovers to take advantage of early season prices on lift tickets as well as season passes. Skiers and snowboarders who are thinking of enjoying their favorite sport outside of Colorado will have the opportunity to check out what ski resorts in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, western Canada, France and Chile have to offer.

In addition to amazing shopping opportunities, there will be non-stop action and entertainment including a rail jam competition, kid’s activities, aerial shows and celebrity appearances. A new attraction for 2007 is the “Honda DNA-Evolution Rocky Mountain Snow Down”. This involves members of the CU and CSU ski and snowboard teams showcasing their talent and daring while they tackle a complex set of three different rails while competing for a trophy.

World famous freeskiers, Kim Reichhelm and Brad Holmes will be making special guest appearances. Big Mountain ski stars, Chris Anthony and Chris Davenport will be on hand to meet fans, sign autographs and discuss the upcoming Warren Miller film “Playground”. The Flying Aces Aerial Spectacular will once again captivate audiences with their gravity-defying single, double and even triple twisting somersaults on skis and snowboards.

The Grand Central Entertainment Centre will feature outrageous contest and performances such as sumo wrestling and tricycle races all held together by the hyper-energetic emcee Uncle “E”. The Interactive Play Area will have kids, teens and even some adults literally climbing the wall as they scramble up a tricky mountain-like surface. Other attractions include the interactive ski and snowboard games of Adrenalin Jam and some of the Broncos all-time greatest players doing a meet-and-greet with fans.

Clearly, snow skiing and snowboarding fans should not miss the Colorado Ski & Snowboard Expo.
