The winter line up at Copper Mountain is set to be filled with action, kicking off with the Lift Off weekend from the 14th of November to the 16th of November 2008. Parties, raffles, specials, musical acts, a Movie Tour Pub Crawl and rides on the American Eagle Lift are a few of the activities to look forward to. For the rest of November, events include the USSA Race to the Cup GS, Leftover Yam&Jive Turkey Rail Jam, Gobber Chase Snowshoe Race and En Feugo, complete with a skydiving Santa and tree lighting.
The festivities continue through December, combining the holiday atmosphere with non-stop skiing and snowboarding action, with entertainment and fun. December is highlighted by the USSA Chevy Grand Prix, the High Alpine Holidays, Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade and En Fuego and a New Years Eve celebration that will begin with fireworks and end with an all night party.
The Burton Super Demo will start off the new year, followed by the USSA Revolution Tour, Valentine’s Day specialties, Mardi Gras, St. Patrick’s Day Celebration, U.S. Freeskiing Open, Colorado Special Olympics Winter Games, USASA Nationals, Colorado’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt and Sunsation. For almost every month, there is a special event to celebrate. The activities, attractions and breathtaking landscapes of Copper Mountain are enough to rave about, but the special events that are hosted show skiers and resort guests that their happiness, entertainment and memorable holidays are the resort’s priority.
