Mission Ridge

Situated on the eastern side of the Cascade Mountains, Mission Ridge Ski Area is just twelve short miles from the town of Wenatchee. The resort promises quality snow, sunshine and great services. The ski area receives roughly 170 inches of snowfall every year and it combines this with a 10% snow making capability to ensure good skiing conditions all season long. When you combine this with roughly 300 days of annual sunshine, you’ll find some of the best skiing conditions available in the state.

Mission Ridge has a summit elevation of 6,820 ft and a 2,200 ft vertical drop. There are approximately 1,000 acres of ski-able terrain which offers a variety of trails to suit all levels of skier. The 36 trails available are rated 10% beginner, 60% intermediate, 20% advanced and 10% expert. There are six well-placed lifts to provide access to the various trails and you’ll seldom find yourself waiting in long lines to get to the top of the mountain. Other activities include cross-country skiing, snow tubing and snowshoeing. The resort even hosts an annual mountain festival and a rail riding series to add to all the fun!

In addition to all this, the trails are groomed regularly and you will find that some of them have lighting to facilitate night skiing. The resort also caters well to the demands of families, with excellent private or group instruction, women’s programs, children‘s programs, childcare facilities and equipment rentals. There are also plans to extend the resorts facilities, and efforts to increase the snowmaking capability and lift capacity have already started.

Mission Ridge Ski Area is open between December and April every year for great skiing and snowboarding fun. Why not book your accommodation near Mission Ridge and enjoy this ski area’s superb facilities this winter? The choice is yours.
