Deer Valley

Situated in Park City, just 37 miles from Salt Lake International Airport, Deer Valley Resort has recently been rated as the number one ski resort in the country by skiers themselves. This great resort has exceptional customer service, great slopes and brilliant accommodation – there is seldom a better combination!

Situated on a mountain with a summit elevation of 9570 ft, Deer Valley Resort is seldom short of snow. Besides 300 inches of annual snowfall, its slopes enjoy 29% snow making coverage. There are 91 excellent trails that offer a variety of terrain and slope gradient. They cover 1825 acres of skiable land and can be accessed by 21 lifts. The slopes are rated: 15% beginner, 50% intermediate and 35% advanced. There are also ski lessons for all levels and great children’s programs and child care facilities. Skiing equipment can be easily hired at the resort.

Deer Valley is ultimately a skiing resort and it has a no snowboarding policy. However, it does have one of the best grooming fleets available in the country and you will always be able to enjoy top quality runs regardless of your skill level. However, if you’re in search of something a bit more challenging, ungroomed trails are available in the Sultan and Mayflower areas.

Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you can be sure that Deer Valley has the cuisine to fulfill it. The resort has four on-mountain restaurants that offer a variety of dining styles. Two examples are the Royal Street Café and the Snow Park Bakery. In summer families can enjoy the same great restaurants but they can build their appetite by mountain biking, hiking, enjoying a scenic chairlift ride or, if you’re a kid, then by enjoying the kid’s adventure camp.
